Who am I?
___
I am a 4th generation photographer and videographer with a main focus for bringing the natural world to people’s attention.
Skateboarding down an empty Portland, Oregon, city street at 8 in the morning on an unusually sunny March day in 2015 was the moment that inspired my current path. I remember looking at the light and thinking how cool this shot would be and as I was framing it in my head.
It was that day that I made the decision to buy my first DSLR.
As I soon as I got it, I put it to use taking photos and producing videos centered around my two passions:
• The Natural World
• Action Sports
Fast forward ten years and this type of media production now feels like an inseparable part of who I am and the only thing that I will be doing moving forward.
I’m a pandemic 2021 graduate from Colorado State University (go Rams!) with a Major in Media Communications and Journalism and a Minor in Business Administration.
Throughout my studies, I learned the ins and outs of how to achieve high quality images and videos directly out of my camera and turn them into cohesive and presentable stories that I can be proud of. I’ve used this knowledge over the last several years to produce over 400 YouTube videos for TFL Studios, as well as numerous other projects for the Bureau of Land Management and the non profit Project Sol Flower.
